OP Kohli takes oath as new Governor of Gujarat

Gujarat new Governor-designate Mr. Om Prakash Kohli took the oath as the Governor here today. The Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court Justice Mr. Bhaskar Bhattacharya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Kohli.
Prominent among those present at the oath-taking ceremony included Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel, State Assembly Speaker Mr. Vajubhai Vala, Council of Ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, heads of Statutory Boards and Corporations, invited dignitaries and family members of the new Governor.
Before the oath-taking ceremony, Chief Secretary Dr. Varesh Sinha read out the warrant of appointment by the President of India.
