Gandhinagar, 17 July, 2014
Police today recovered effigies from a car in Gandhinagar.
The car belongs to member of assembly elected from Mansa seat Shri Amit Chaudhary.
Chaudhary belongs to opposition Congress party.
Leader of opposition in assembly Shankersinh Vaghela had yesterday announced an agitation against Power Minister Saurabh Patel.
It is believed that Congress had planned burning of effigy of Saurabh Patel in Gandhinagar today, and effigies recovered from MLA Amit Chaudharys’ car were for this agitation.
Leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela yesterday complained that Minister Saurabh Patel responded to his query in angry tone which is insult of not only leader of opposition, but entire opposition.
Meanwhile Speaker today removed cross allegations between Leader of opposition and Power Minister from yesterday’s record. Speaker told MLAs to address him while speaking in house and not to address another member directly.
BJP proposed cancellation of suspension of two Congress MLAs Ashwin Kotwal and Mansinh Chauhan which was accepted by Speaker.
