Not all, but many photographs in this set represent Chamanpura/Civil hospital area of Ahmedabad. We can safely say that this was the worst affected area in Ahmedabad during Wednesday’s water logging. While for others it could be water logging of few hours, for Chamanpura area people it was more than water logging. It was like flood for them. Ahmedabad Fire and Rescue department’s boats were sailing on the roads of Chamanpura for relief(not rescue exactly). The area has poor people. Not just the authority but people of city also need to take care of them till the time they settle down again(possibly as soon as their houses are suitable to live). The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will have a big responsibility of taking care of health of the people in low lying area who suffered a lot on Wednesday due to almost a flood like situation.
