Bollywood mega-star Amitabh Bachchan today arrived in Surat for shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati(KBC).

It is for the first time that shooting of KBC is being held outside Mumbai.

Shooting will be held on Saturday at Sarthana Convention Center in a big set already set up there.

As many as 150 dancers and starts other than Bachchan are part of the shooting.

Contrary to expectations that Bachchan may arrive by air, he actually came to Surat by road.

Gujarat Police escorted Amitabh Bachchan’s convoy from Gujarat border.

Bachchan took about half an hour rest at Vishram guest house near Pardi. As soon as the news of his arrival spread, large number of people gathered there. Bachchan cooperated with them and allowed them to take photographs from distance.
