Details of Gyan saptah conceptulized by Chief Minister Anandiben

Chief Minister Anandiben keeps conceptualizing and announcing new weeks and fortnights. After the women empowerment fortnight, the latest is Gyan saptah(knowledge week) which is to be celebrated during 1-5 September.

As per a circular issued by state’s education department, all granted primary, secondary and higher secondary schools will have to celebrate Gyan saptah.

1 September(Swachchhata)

Cleaning of school campus by group of students. Decoration of primary school and classes and competition of that, science practicals, chart, paper cutting, clay work, rangoli, best classroom, Gujarati-English writing, story telling, ideal reading, mathematics sums, tables singing, general knowledge, quiz.

2 September(Samruddhi)

Quick approval to classroom, additional classrooms, compound wall, sanitation work from state and district level.

3 September(Swa-Shikshan)

Students to run classroom and teaching in school. Teachers and principal will need to train the students for this day.

4 September(Samullas)

Morning rally against intoxicants. Tree plantation in village/school. Fancy dress competition, patriotic group songs, mono acting, drawing competition.

5 September(Sanman)

Felicitation of retired teachers in school by teachers, village people, school management committee members and trustees. Patriotic songs.
