Stay against MS University election

Lower court in Vadodara has today given stay on election of student union in MS University till 14 September.
MSUSU polls for the posts of general secretary and vice president apart from those of faculty representatives (FRs) were earlier scheduled to be held on August 26.
A petition was filed against the election following clear breach of Lyngdoh committee recommendations on poll expenses, eligibility of candidates and canvassing.
