This is how Amdavadis reacted to Monday’s thunderstorm

The city of Ahmedabad on Monday received heavy rain again after similar thunderstorm the city witnessed on Sunday. It should be mentioned that as on 8.00 am on Monday, the city has completed 86.16% of its normal average monsoon rain with total rainfall of 665 mm till now. With Monday evening’s shower the city would probably complete nearly 90% rain of average normal monsoon season. Considering the average of 1984-2013 monsoons, the average total shower in monsoon is 772 mm. The city received 19 mm rain till Monday morning. By Monday morning, Gujarat has completed 68.56% rain of average monsoon season’s total rainfall. The figure could be nearly or above 70% by Tuesday morning.
