Narendra Rawat “copies” Narendra Modi, but very poorly

Vadodara, 13 September, 2014

Congress party’s Vadodara Lok Sabha by-poll candidate Narendra Rawat today attracted attention of media for his selfie act just outside the polling booth. While news channels only catered visuals and facts, the smarter and interactive online media made enough fun of Rawat for ‘copying’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s selfie act. It should be noted that Shri Modi did the same during Lok Sabha general elections early this year, but beyond 100 meter limit of polling booth to escape poll code violation, contrary to Rawat.

No front camera in Rawat’s mobile phone

It seems, this was Rawat’s publicity grabbing attempt only, because there’s no front camera in Rawat’s Nokia mobile phone which is not even a smart phone. Rawat was just catering visual to TV cameras, but his phone lacks camera to click selfie! Later Rawat showed a ‘selfie’ but it was captured at different location!

Jatin Kella showed Congress symbol

Congress candidate from Maninagar constituency Jatin Kella was wearing tricolor scarf but without Congress symbol. He showed Congress’s election sybmol ‘hand’ to TV cameras while casting his vote from within the polling booth. Returning officer is probing the matter.
