Gujarat Bypolls results updates

Results of bypolls of 9 assembly seats and 1 Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat are to be declared today.
At 10 am: BJP’s Suresh Patel has won Maninagar seat. Ranjanben Bhatt has won Vadodara seat. The BJP in Vadodara has decided not to hold victory procession due to recent flood. Suresh Patel who won Maninagar seat said he will work like a soldier of BJP. He said he celebrates Narendra Modi’s birthday by distributing fruits among kindergarten school students, and he will continue to do that. He said he is prabhari of BJP in Maninagar for last twenty years and knows the issues of Maninagar. Congress has won Mangrol seat by comfortable margin.
On other seats, BJP is comfortably ahead of rival Congress on Limkheda, Anand, Talaja, Tankara seats.
Congress is leading on Khmbhalia, Deesa and Matar seats.
At 10:30 am: Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhwadia said Congress has not only snatched away seats from BJP, but margin of victory of BJP candidates has also come down on other seats.
At 10:50 am BJP candidates are victorious on Matar, Tankara and Talaja seats. Thus BJP has won Vadodara(Lok Sabha), Matar, Tankara, Talaja, Maninagar seats while Congress has won Mangrol and Deesa seats. Congress is ahead of BJP on Khambhalia seat. BJP is ahead of Congress on Limkheda, Anand seats. Thus The result is in direction of 7-3. 7 to BJP and 3 to Congress.
At 11.00 am At Khambhalia, Congress’s lead is down and at around 800 votes.
At 11.05 am: BJP wins Anand and Limkheda seats.
At 11.50 am Congress is enjoying comfortable 6,000 votes lead in Khambhalia.
At 12.35 pm Congress wins Khambhalia by margin of around 1200 votes.
Overall score: Out of 9 assembly seats, BJP wins 6, Congress 3. BJP also wins one Lok Sabha seat. Total score 7 to BJP, 3 to Congress.
