Uma Bharti on Gujarat visit

Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti is one one day visit to Gujarat today.
Uma arrived at Palanpur railway station in Rajdhani Express from Delhi. She moved to Siddhpur town by road. She refused to share details of her Siddhpur visit as it was a private visit according to her. As per sources, Uma performed matru tarpan vidhi, for which Siddhpur is wellknown(even Amitabh Bachchana nd HD Devegauda have performed matru tarpan here).
Uma Bharti is scheduled to visit Gandhinagar and later the Sabarmati riverfront project in Ahmedabad today before she leaves for Delhi.
When media persons asked about Imam’s remarks against Hindu festival of Navratri, Uma refused to react. On a question related to her department, Uma said the government is willing to clean the rivers.
