Another Hindu festival, another incident of communal clash in Vadodara

It seems some elements in Vadodara just doesn’t want to allow any Hindu festival to go on smoothly and peacefully.
In the name of protest against a Facebook post, a group of Muslims gathered today afternoon in communally sensitive Fatepura area of Vadodara, and later stone pelting started between Hindus and Muslims in Kumbharwada/Fatepura area.
Around 10 vehicles/hawkers stands were set to fire. Police lobbed tear gas shells to control the situation. Police Commissioner himself rushed to the spot. It is reported that SRP team has been deployed here. More details are awaited.
