The State Transport bus station at Makarpura in Vadodara was jsut another ST bus station in India. The government of Gujarat later converted it to a swanky mall-type modern bus-station with airport like facilities through Public Private Partnership(PPP) model.
A seminar which is being organized today at Hotel Express Tower in Vadodara is showcasing the details of Vadodara ST bus station project to around two dozen IAS officers from various states who head government state transport service in their state, so that they can also start working on similar project in their own state.
Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) and a-60-member strong Association of State Road Transport Under Taking have jointly organized the event.
Various presentations will showcase all the details pertaining to reconstruction of existing old ST stations through PPP model.
