With a song on lips, tears in eyes and wish to born in Gujarat in next birth, Gujarat High Court Chief Justice retires

During his farewell function held today, outgoing Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court Bhaskar Bhattacharya had tears in his eyes.
While speaking at his farewell function, Justice Bhattacharya said he would like to have next birth in Gujarat. Justice Bhattacharya sung a Hindi film song, “Jab khel mein, hum ho na ho, gardish mein tare rahenge sada.”
He had tears in his eyes.
Justice Bhattacharya retired on 28 September. He was appointed Chief Justice of Gujarat on 21 July, 2012.
Justice VM Sahai has been appointed as Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court replacing Justice Bhattacharya.
