As long as I am in Delhi, no one can break Maharashtra:Modi

Mumbai, 7 October 2014

Replying to falsehood and rumors spread by Ranes of Congress, Thackerays of Shiv Sena and Bhujbal and Pawar of NCP that BJP if elected to power would break Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in his speech at Sindkheda (Dhule) clearly said that as long as he is in Delhi, no one can break Maharashtra.

Shri Modi said, “they are now spreading a newer falsehood. They say Maharashtra will be divided if BJP is elected to power. I want to say, in this nation there’s no one who can break Chhatrapati Shivaji’s state”.

“None can snatch away anything from Mumbai, and none can snatch away Mumbai from Maharashtra. Without Mumbai, Maharshtra is incomplete, and without Maharashtra and Mumbai, India is incomplete,” he said.

“If in India, any state has ability to give speed to development, it is Maharashtra where Mumbai is located,” Modi said.

He said, “even at our home, if someone suffering from fever catches high temperature, he would start speaking anything. I am observing that those who are on verge of defeat, whose total safai seems certain are now speaking anything.”

“This style of politics went on for sixty long years, but they should not forget what they experienced just five months back. They should remember it. More mud they throw on us, lotus is going to bloom even further.”

Modi said 15th October will be a day of freedom from 15 years of misrule in Maharashtra.
