Gandhinagar, 7 October 2014
Leader of Opposition in Gujarat assembly Shri Shankersinh Vaghela today while interacting with media persons in Gandhinagar said that though he had demanded at least five days long assembly session through a letter to Speaker of Gujarat Vidhansabha, he has now learnt that the Speaker has granted only two days long session of Vidhan Sabha on 10-11 November.
Shri Vaghela said that two days long session would be just a token one, merely to fulfill constitutional obligation.
He said there’s so much to discuss in the assembly that even five days session would not be enough, but the government has called just two days long session which clearly shows that the government has no time to discuss problems of people.
