Dwarka to witness opening of Rs. 62 crore development works

Gujarat’s one of the busiest pilgrim destination Dwarka town will witness opening of Rs. 62 crore development project on 10 October in presence of state Chief Minister.

A list of development works ready to open includes Ravla talav, new Gomtighat, Chowpatty near Gayatri mandir, parking at Nageshwar, VVIP parking, Dhirubhai Ambaji road among others.

Dhirubhai Ambani road starts at the entrance of Dwarka town and takes pilgrims upto Gomti Ghat. It has solar lights, streetlights, footpath and decorative pilars.

Chief Minister will attend Garib Kalyan Mela at Dwarka Circuit House ground, have night halt at Circuit house and darshan at Dwarka Jagat Mandir and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga mandir.

Rs. 12 crore project for changing the old drinking water pipeline in Dwarka is likely to kick off soon. Rs. 8 crore work of a bridge connecting Panchkui and Chowpatty has kicked off. Yatradham Vikas Board and Reliance Industries Limited(RIL) intend to complete this task in 8 months period. Rs. 35 crore underground drainage line work is going on at present through Dwarka Municipality.

As Chief Minister has already announced in a recent function in Khambhalia, the Dwarka town is going to have a government hospital by the end of this year.
