A new Judge designated for Naroda gam, Gulberg society, Ahmedabad serial blast, Modasa blast cases

Principal Judge of Jamnagar PB Desai has replaced KK Bhatt as Principal Judge of Bhadra City Civil and Sessions Court. Judge KK Bhatt retired on 30 September. Desai has accepted charge of new post since 13 October. He has been recently appointed as designated Judge for Gulberg society and Naroda gam riot cases of year 2002 and Ahmedabad serial blast case by the Gujarat High Court. He has also been appointed a special designated Judge for NIA investigated cases including Modasa blast.
