In-principal approval to Cycle sharing system in Gandhinagar

Gujarat Chief Minister has given in-principal approval to activate Cycle sharing system in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation and GUDA areas.
With execution of this system, 104 cycle stations and 1430 bicycles will provide transportation facility for short journey in Gandhinagar area.
GUDA will set up a special purpose vehicle(SPV) covering GUDA, municipal corporation and road and building department’s capital division.
Initial phase of the project, upto formation of SPV will be implemented by GUDA.
GUDA has estimated Rs. 5.50 crore for first one year of project.
Dholka to get new building of Municipality
Gujarat Chief Minister has today approved Rs. 1.24 crore sum for construction of new municipality office building in Dholka. Nagarpalika building will be known as Nagar Seva Sadan with new building.
