Bhuj, 3 November 2014
Gujarat Chief Minister’s visit to Bhuj on 6 November will provide great relief to around 4,500 families here who live at relocation site but don’t enjoy ownership of their house for last one decade.
Chief Minister during her visit to Bhuj will distribute ownership right (red book) to relocated families who left their original flats after earthquake in year 2001. Post earthquake, while they handed over their original housing land to the government, they failed to get ownership rights of alternative plots given to them by the government at relocation site even after repeated attempts and representations.
With fresh intervention of local elected representatives and district collector, the red books containing ownership rights are ready now and the government is going to start distribution of red books with the visit of Chief Minister.
