L&T Knowledge City Vadodara is expanding its horizons. Headquarters of Power division of L&T has been shifted to Vadodara recently. Next is L&T’s thermal power plant construction division which is going to be shifted from Chennai to Vadodara. This division has already 150 engineers at present in Vadodara.

L&T Knowledge City has integrated engineering services department for engineering research. There are total 2500 engineers serving at L&T Knowledge city Vadodara.

L&T has received order to set up two gas based power plants in Bangladesh from Japanese companies. This power plant will be made at Hazira complex of L&T. Recently L&T set up Rs. 1200 crore Dhuvaran power plant on turn-key basis.

Vadodara Knowledge City will be L&T’s hub for making Statue of Unity featuring Sardar Patel.
