Petrol, diesel prices may go further down again this week
November 10, 2014
New Delhi, 9 November 2014
Petrol, Diesel prices are likely to go down once again by around Re.1.00 from 15 November due to decreased petrol/diesel prices globally and stable or better position of Indian Rupee against dollar.
With this, under Narendra Modi’s leadership, Petrol is going to be cheaper by around Rs. 10.
The question being raised by people is now about lack of impact of fuel price cut on the prices of other commodities and ticket fares.
Even after aviation fuel price is 11% down, airlines have not reduced ticket fares. Similarly the prices of milk and other commodities that had gone up due to hike in fuel prices in the past are now not going down even after significant reduction in fuel price.
