If even Sheep and Wool Development Corporation’s class-3 employee deputed in rural area can be in capacity to seek bribe, just imagine which department and which government employee would not be in position to do corruption.
A class-3 employee of Gujarat government run Gheta Un Vikas Nigam was caught by Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) in Rapar in Kutch district for accepting Rs. 2,000 bribe from shepherd for giving medicines for sheep.
Field Assistant Railal Raychanddas Parmar was accepting bribe from complainant Pababhai Badhabhai Rabari. The state government provides medicines for sheeps free of cost to shepherds, but Pabahai was asked to pay Rs. 2,000 bribe for medicines for his 100 ill sheeps.
Pababhi contacted ACB, following which ACB Police Inspector RJ Sureja and field border unit Police Inspector Harish Kansagra laid trap. The accused demanded bribe in presence of witness. He was caught red-handed.
