Major setback to Congress party in rural Surendranagar

While Sangathan Parva is underway, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has achieved major gain in Surendranagar district.
Chotila municipality president and vice president have left Congress party with 9 Councillors to join BJP.
State BJP general secretary and minister Vijaybhai Rupani is instrumental in this move.
With this, about 2,000 Congress workers including district and taluka panchayat members have joined BJP.
Local Congress leader and BJP came closer after local dairy election in which Vijaybhai Rupani had taken interest to help them.
Finally, today, on the occasion of national milk day the Congress men joined BJP.
