Amit Shah’s high voltage address in Kolkata (in text and video)

Following are the glimpses of BJP national president Amit Shah’s address to BJP Utthan Rally in Kolkata today:

Mamta Didi, you government’s countdown has begun. On every 30 November, BJP’s West Bengal unit celebrates BJP Uththan day for last 6 years. I have also attended this event couple of times. But I want to tell you that on next 30th November, it will be TMC Patan Divas, and it is very clear. Because in BJP’s utththan, there’s Trinamool’s Patan.

This is historic turn. 27 years of communist rule kicked out and hope Triamool Congress to take ahead Bengal’s stalled developed. Rural development works, drinking water, jobs. Bengal there only and went back.

TMC MPs come to parliament wearing black shawl and carrying black umbrellas and they protest against black money. I want to ask Didi, you are sending MPs to protest black money, but was Sardha chit fund money black or white? Why are you rescuing Sardha chit fund accused? You should remember you had run Singhur movement and went on indefinite fast when land belonging to 1200 people was acquired, but here in Sardha and other chit funds, over 17 lakh people have suffered financial losses, but then why Mamta doesn’t come to roads to agitate? Is there any responsibility, or concern in your mind or not? Who are associated with these chit funds? Earlier there were just accusations, but now it has been proved that TMC leaders are involved.

Mamta alleges CBI is trapping their leaders. I am challenging her – whether innocents are trapped or not will be decided by court, but if she is strong enough, she should just have gut to say that those facing action by CBI are innocent. Say it for once that those arrested are innocent. Those who have swallowed money that belong to lakhs of common people are now being protected, saved by Mamta.

Who is Srujoy Ghosh? who is Kunal Babu? Mamtaji should tell us who bought her painting? Mamtaji, tell us why Shyamal Sen Commission was winded up? Mamtaji should tell us, whether TMC leaders benefited from Saradha chit fund or not? If benefited how can she say CBI is trapping innocent? When she was not CM she went on indefinite fast, and now she is rescuing chit fund accused!

Mamtaji is saving bomb blast accused. On 2nd October one Shakil Ahmed died in blast. Why Bengal police didn’t arrest anyone? Who is Nurul Hassan Chaudhary whose house witnessed bomb blast? When NIA probe began, Mamta has started vote bank politics. Mamta issues statement against handing over probe to NIA. Whom she wants to protect? She must realize that Bangladeshi intruders have not made her Chief Minister. People of West Bengal have made her Chief Minister. If she wants to save TMC by protecting Bangladeshi intruders, her countdown has began.

NIA is stopped doing probe in the name of ‘federal structure’. NIA is not allowed to work. TMC leaders are connected to the act of blast. Mamta will have to answer in future.

Who supplied money for Burdwan bombs? When probed, it was concluded that Sardha chit fund money was used for bomb blasts there. Both probes clubbed at one point.

I want to appeal Mamtaji that you may continue to do vote bank politics but don’t create danger for country. Stop encouraging Bangladeshi intruders. Don’t harbor Bangladeshi intruders. And I want to say that these people who did the job of bomb blast are not accepted to people of Bangladesh too. Even the people of Bangladesh don’t want to save them.

In upcoming days there will be a massive changes in Bengal politics. I want to appeal West Bengal people that they should join this development journey.

BJP formed government in Maharashtra and Haryana and it will form government in Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Bihar too, but as a president of BJP I want to tell that the true victory will be when BJP will form government in West Bengal.

Nation’s west part has been developed, but east part lacks development. There’s much to do in the areas of employment, education, health, industry here.

In Gujarat we say that each village will get 24 hour power through added power generation and its management. In Bengal, the state has more power to supply to villages because industries have shut down in big number. Hindustan Telecom, Shalimar paint, Shyam steel are shutting down. Youths are unemployed. Quality of health services has gone down. Roads are in poor shape. 16,000 labours of chai bagan are unemployed. Mamtaji when became CM she said TMC would save Bengal but today instead of moving ahead on development path, Bengal is going backward.

West Bengal has intelligent and hard working youths. The land of West Bengal is Sujalam Safalamam(water reach and fertile). There’s just lack of leadership here. And Mamtaji was brought-in for same reason but she has failed. Modiji promised to lower down prices and you witnessed 12 rounds of reduction in petrol prices. Inflation has come down.

You tell me friends, if Modiji wants to develop Bengal, will Mamtaji allow it? You need to elect BJP Chief Minister in Bengal. If once West Bengal decides to join with BJP and Modiji, within five years Bengal be found going ahead in the direction to become number one state. Be it Jan Dhan, Make in India, Ganga cleaning or Swachchata Abhiyan introduced by Shri Narendra Modi led BJP government in centre. Mamta is creating hurdles in implementation of various schemes introduced by the central government. I want to ask you, will Mamta allow Modi to do development work in Bengal? You will need to form BJP government here.

And BJP government will not come on its own. In the month of May, Kolkata Municipal Corporation elections are to be held. I urge you to uproot TMC in that election. TMC’s countdown should begin with that election. Once you elect BJP in KMC elections, entire Bengal will get message and atmosphere of change will spread across Bengal.

Let them stop, we don’t want to give excuse to Mamtadi.

A few days back when this rally was being planned, Mamtaji questioned who is this Amit Shah! I want to tell Didi that if she can watch, if she can hear, let she hear that I am Amit Shah. I am a small worker of BJP. I am Amit Shah and I am here on the land of Bengal to uproot TMC. And in true sense, let BJP worker in entire nation and in Bengal hear it clearly that BJP will be considered victorious in true sense only when it wins West Bengal. Modi’s victory chariot which started its journey in 2014 general elections will conclude its march in West Bengal.

Emotional blackmail, vote bank politics, drama of simplicity will not be able to make West Bengal people fool any more. The people here want good governance, freedom from jungle raj, development, and therefore West Bengal needs a government which is patriotic, which punish criminals, which sends Saradha chit fund accused to jail. Which doesn’t believe in nautanki and but believe in development.

Seeing your mood, I am leaving this venue with extreme satisfaction in my heart that in upcoming days WB will be walking on development path.
