Gujarat govt to start winter edition of Krushi Mahotav

Gujarat government will celebrate Winter edition of Krushi Mahotsav later this month.
According to government officials, ‘Ravi Krushi Mahotsav’ will be held across the state during 11-21 December.
Each district has been given target of certain number of farmers that are to be brought to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar for inauguration of the mahotsav that shall take place in presence of state Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.
Village level seminars, guidance on better crop management, visits of experts are part of th Ravi Krushi Mahotav.
Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the state had initiated anual Krushi Mahotsav a few years back ahead of Kharif season.
From this year onwards, the state government is also introducing Ravi Krushi Mahotsav for winter crop.
