Vadodara, December 14, 2014
Vadodara’s Inorbit mall has resumed collection of parking charge from visitors.
A week ago, Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC) had asked Inorbit and five other malls and multiplexes to stop charging visitors for parking.
Two mall operators had challenged VMC’s order in Gujarat High Court.
Gujarat High Court is yet to give final judgement in this case, but in interim order it has permitted petitioners to charge Rs. 10 for two-wheelers and Rs. 25 for four wheelers for parking.
Following relief fro high court, Inorbit and Inox have resumed collection of parking fee from visitors.
Further hearing in this case will be held next week.
