Rs. 5 lakh crore MoU by a single firm in Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Out of total Rs. 25 lakh crore worth of claimed intention of investment received during Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2015, Rs. 5 lakh crore worth intentions are proposed by a single company which is Britain based Solaria group.
Solaria group has signed MoU with Urban development department, Government of Gujarat in the areas of housing, smart city infrastructure, solid waste management, architect service, technical support, planning etc.
According to sources in state government, UK based Solaria group will lead various companies and start joint venture projects in Gujarat with various groups.
There are 2,223 MoUs signed in ‘large sector’ category which involves projects with over Rs. 50 crore investment.
