Gujarat Budget 2015-16 to be presented on 24 February

Gujarat Assembly Budget Session will take place during 23 February – 31 March period.

Finance Minister Shri Saurabh Patel will present state budget for year 2015-16 on 24 February.

Budget session is one session that has to be held for about a month long period, due to days long prescribed process of discussion on demands of various departments. Sessions other than monsoon session( winter session, monsoon session), have been in recent years held only for two-three days. Budget session is therefore a session that is much awaited by opposition party members. During the budget session, opposition parties don’t miss even a single chance to attract media limelight. They make every attempt to show government in poor light.
