Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will meet all member of parliaments representing Gujarat on February 19th at Narmada hall of Swarnim Sankul in capital Gandhinagar.
Chief Minister will discuss the issues of Gujarat pending before the central government in this meeting.
The meeting is going to be held as per a tradition set by former Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
The meeting is going to be held in connection with upcoming parliament session.
For the first time, opposition Congress party has no Lok Sabha MP elected from Gujarat at present. However it has Rajya Sabha MPs. There’s no clarity whether they will attend this meeting or not. In past Congress has not attended such meeting on many occasions. On some occasions Congress MPs attended the meeting but created chaos and walked out.
Past record suggest that big wig politicians like Ahmed Patel, Arun Jaitley, Smriti Irani, LK Advani may not attend the meeting.
There are also three Ministers of State in union government elected from Gujarat.
