Top state IFS officer passes away on duty in Gujarat

Additional Principal Chief Conservator Kabulchand died on duty in tribal Vansda town in south Gujarat as he suffered heart attack.
Kabulchand was at Bhinar in Vansda taluka for preparations of upcoming state level forest festival of Gujarat government. As additional principal chief conservator Kabulchand looks after social forestry .
On Sunday he arrived at Vansda and held a meeting with officers at Van Chetna Kendra in Ranifaliya. After night halt he had tea in the morning on Monday. Later he went inside his room. As he didn’t respond to phone calls of local forest officials, they opened the door through duplicate key and found Kabulchand lying dead on his bed His body was taken to Vansda cottage hospital for postmortem.
Kabulchand belongs to Jaipur in Rajasthan. He was 1983 IFS. Forest Minister Mangubhai Patel and others offered floral tribute to his body. After guard of honor, Kabulchand’s body was taken to Gandhinagar for cremation.
