China Association of SME to set-up textile park in Gujarat

China Association of Small and Medium Enterprise Industry (CASMEI) Vice chairman Mr. Shen Gaohua and Deputy Secretary General Mr. Guo Zhixin today paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel and discussed the details about setting up textile industry park in Gujarat.
It should be noted that Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) was signed between CASMEI and Gujarat government arm iNDEXTb(Industrial Extension Bureau) at Shanghai in presence of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Patel during their visit to China in May 2015.
As a first step towards taking this MOU ahead, CASMEI officials today were in Gandhinagar to meet Mr. Patel and discussed about their future plans.
While appreciating CASMEI’s quick response, CM stated that such initiative will make relationship between two countries stronger. This project will create job opportunities for youth and promote skill development.
During the meeting, Principal Secretary Ms. S. Aparna, Secretary Mr. Ajay Bhadu, CASME Country Head Mr. Kamleshbhai and iNDEXTb Managing Director Mr. Rupwant Singh were present.
