“Keep watch over Missionaries and Naxal activities in tribal south Gujarat”

Over 50 representatives of Hindu organizations from villages of Dharampur-Kaprada areas in Valsad district of South Gujarat on Wednesday made representation at District Superintendent of Police(DSP) office and pointed out that various organizations emerged in recent past, backed by missionaries were spreading Naxalism under the slogan of ‘Jay Adivasi’ in tribal areas of Vyara and Songadh.
The memorandum pointed out that recently, thousands of people gathered at Hanumatmal village of Dharampur area under the banner of tribal organization.
A memorandum demanded constant police watch and actions against religious conversion through unfair means.
It also demanded police action against north-east India style Naxal movement emerging in this area.
The representatives visiting DSP office said the members of suspicious organizations when meet in the market or at other places greet each other with ‘Lal Salam’ and ‘Jay Adivasi’.
The organizations in its memorandum also said that such activity has spread across Kaprada, Dharampur and Dang areas.
