Not interested in any solution, some people just want to remain alive in media: Anandiben

Gandhinagar

Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel today said those who want to think negative will continue to think negative, but those who want to think positively find positivity even in negative. The state government has presented Swavalamban scheme which will give benefits to all students from school to college. True details of this scheme should be put before public. There a section of people who are not interested in any kind of solution. They just want to continue to remain alive in media by putting forward negative issues in public. I don’t want to say anything about them.

Talking to newsmen at Koba near Gandhinagar, where the four day district units meeting of the ruling BJP is being held, Mrs. Patel, who announced an over Rs. 1000 crore Swavalamban scheme for economically weaker sections of all castes on September 24 in response to the reservation demand of Patel and some other communities, said, ‘some people seemingly don’t have any interest in a solution.’

Without naming Patidar Anamat Aandolan Samiti (PAAS) or its convener Hardik Patel, the 22 year old Patel leader who has become the main face of the agitation, the chief minister said,’ some people who want to remain in media.

To a query regarding the suicide of a Patel agitation supporter in Rajkot allegedly leaving behind a suicide note claiming to have taken the extreme step as a sacrifice for the agitation, Mrs. Patel said,’ the police was investigating the matter in detail and the findings would be made public once the inquiry was over.’ The CM requested the people to not to politicize such matters.
