“Never do mistake of thinking that what you find on TV, print headlines only is India”

London

Speaking at Wembley stadium in London today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today said that India is not just what you find it on TV screen or in newspaper headlines.

“We should never do mistake to think that what we see on TV screen only is India. What’s there in headlines of newspaper is just not India. India is much bigger. There’s deep and tall and best India outside the TV screen.”

“You may have not heard or read that there’s one person called Imran Khan in Alwar in Rajasthan who is committed to education. He has created 50 apps of mobile phone and that too which are useful to students in their studies. And he just not created the apps but he dedicated them for free to students.”

“My India is there in Alwar’s Imran Khan.”

“Some time back in Haryana where there’s big gap in male-female sex ration, one Sarpanch from small village launched an initiative called selfie with daughter. I praised this initiative and this movement reached global scale. Leading people across world took selfie with daughters.”

“This is my India.”

Such lakhs of people who go to tribal people, face troubles but are involved in education, health sectors. There are many committed people in remote villages who are serving the society. Such people, their commitment will push India ahead in direction to touch new heights of development.
