Panchmahal district in Gujarat to hold Panch Mahotsav tourist festival

Panchmahal district administration has organized Panch Utsav at the World Heritage Site of Champaner/Pavagadh during 23-27 December this year. The visitors attending this event will pay visit to Mahakali Mandir and heritage monuments of Champaner during this festival. Heritage walk, local guide facility, tracking, amusement park, cultural performances, craft market, food market, themes based pavilions, performances by renown artists, tribal dance performances, Garba competition, parikrama, Maha aarti, light and sound show, Sufi dance, photography exhibition, historical drama, dayro are some of the highlights of this festival in which Manhar Udhas will perform on 23rd, Bharat Bariya’s dance performance will take place on 24th, folk artist Bhikhudan Gadhvi’s dayro will be staged on 24th, Pruthvi Gohil’s performance on 25th, Aishwarya Majmudar’s vocal to be performed on 26th and Shaymal Saumil’s Sufi music performance will take place on 27th. As many as 80 tent houses are set up for visitors. Over 100 stalls are to be set up for food and cultural items on offering. Swiss tent type facility is going to be set up next to Vada Talav.
