PM flags off latest designed Mahamana Express, two more such trains planned

New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off the Mahamana Express which will cover the distance between Varanasi and New Delhi in less than 14 hours, offer state-of- the-art facilities to passengers and run thrice a week.

Coaches of Mahamana Express are equipped with features like controlled discharged water tap, new toilet modules, exhaust fans, LED lights, snack tables for side berth passengers and use of fire retardation materials.

Railways plans to introduce two more such trains in the future.
