Union Minister to inaugurate a new freight terminal in Gujarat

Continental Warehousing Corporation (NhavaSeva) Ltd. [CWCNSL], company of the NDR Group, a multi-modal logistics player, will inaugurate the all-new private freight terminal at Sachana, Viramgam, in Ahmedabad on January 27, 2016. CWCNSL is an integrated ‘infra logistic company aiming to provide supply chain solutions to its customers by creating a network across locations.

The terminal will be unveiled by Chief Guest Shri Manoj Sinha, Minister of State for Railways, in the presence of Mr. G. C. Agarwal, General Manager, Western Railways and Mr. N. Adikesavulu Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, CWCNSL.

The freight terminal will have dedicated three rail sidings to handle both containerized and bulk cargo. Warehouses aggregating 5 lakh sq. ft., equipped with gantries and other handling equipment, will offer significant storage options to its customers. The terminal would also handle Exim cargo in its inland container depot (ICD). Thus, the company would offer cost-effective bouquet of
value added services to its customers in its terminal, with the ultimate motto of providing customer satisfaction.
