Shah Rukh Khan in Ahmedabad

Hindi film actor Shah Rukh Khan is now in Ahmedabad for shooting of film Raees. Shah Rukh arrived at Sardar Patel airport last night. Shooting of Raees is going on in Ahmedabad’s Diwan bungalow where actor Nawazuddin Siddiqi who plays a cop is already present for last couple of days. A sequence of check post featuring Nawazuddin was also captured in north Gujarat a couple of days back. Photographs of Shah Rukh’s vanity van in Ahmedabad were seen on social media a few days back. Shah Rukh is playing the role of late Ahmedabad based mafia and gangster of 1980s Abdul Latif in Raees. The film is being made by Rahul Dholakia who had earlier given controversial film Parzania which was based on communal riots. Raees has Pakistani heroine Mahira Khan pairing with Shah Rukh. In the backdrop of protests against Shah Rukh Khan in Kutch earlier this month following his certain remarks, the film unit has in present schedule of Ahmedabad hired dozens of bouncers.
