Without directly mentioning the name of opposition congress, he said that those who were day-dreaming about change of power in 2017 would be proven wrong by the jealous party workers who are in every nook and corner of the state and see only the target of win rather than the difficulties and thorns in the way. ‘In 2017 the chants of long live BJP and Bharatmata ki jai would reverberate. We will win even more convincingly under the guidance of Narendrabhai (Modi) to serve the 6 crore Gujaratis again. The win won’t be a full stop but just a comma before an even better future of the state. We will celebrate the golden jubilee of our win,’ he said.

The BJP president said that the party was now ruling in 13 state and the center where it was the first party to get absolute majority in last 20 years. The party with the humble beginning as Jansangh in 1950 had never imagined it. ‘This is not a political journey but a journey of ideology. Under the successful leadership of Narendrabhai our government was marching ahead for all inclusive growth taking in to account poor, farmers, labourers, Dalits, tribals, Other backward classes,’ he said.

Earlier Mr. Shah, also a local BJP MLA from Naranpura constituency, was accorded warm welcome on his arrival here. Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel, her ministerial colleagues, state in-charge of the party Dinesh Sharma, national vice president Purushottam Rupala and other top state party leaders were present on the airport to welcome him.
