Hare Krishna Mandir, Bhadaj will celebrate Gaura Purnima on March 23, 2016 which is the auspicious appearance day of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu prpagated Harinama sankirtana, the congregational chanting of the holy name of Shri Krishna as the yuga dharma for his age of Kali. Due to his golden complexion, Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is also known as Gauranga.

This year will be 530th anniversary of the lordships. On this day, devotees fast till moon rise.
