Sinhasth Kumbh: 3 DEMU trains to be non-operational in central Gujarat

Three DEMU trains are canceled for some days in Gujarat to shift their coaches for transportation of Kumbh Mela pilgrims.
Sinhasth Kumbh mela is going to be organized at Ujjain between 22 April and 21 May. Special trains will run for Kumbh Mela for which coaches are to be transferred from various existing trains.
For this, Chhota Udepur – Vadodara train in Gujarat has been declared cancelled between 18 April and 28 May while Anand Ahmedabad DEMU train will be non-operational for 40 days and Anand-Khambhat MEMU train will be non-operational for 39 days.

DEMU train can travel in both direction therefore they are suitable for Kumbh Mela operations.
Meanwhile local BJP MP of Chhota Udepur Shri Ramsinh Rathwa has threatened agitation if train service is not resumed after Kumbh Mela period. He said local people have apprehension that services once pulled out are never restored generally. In this case it should not happen.
