Alleged molestation aboard train, accused booked under POCSO

Mumbai based Santosh Vasantbhai Yadav(26) who is engineer by profession was arrested by police and booked under POCSO for abusing a minor train aboard Mumbai-Ahmedabad Gujarat Mail train.
Gandhinagar, Gujarat based 17 year old girl was traveling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in Gujarat Mail with her parents. Early in the morning on 2nd June she was sleeping in train when accused Santosh allegedly tried to sexually abuse her. Victim girl suddenly woke up and started shouting for help. Girl’s mother rushed to her help and informed ticket checker about the incident.She also informed railway’s women’s helpline. As soon as the train reached Anand railway station, railway police team arrived and filed complaint following which Santosh yadav was arrested. Anand railway police has transferred this case to Vadodara railway police. Santosh was booked under POCSO and produced in Vadodara court from where he was sent to judicial custody(jail).
