Reconstruction of Vadodara Kamati Baug hanging bridge almost over

Vadodara:This hanging bridge in picture was built during Gaekwad rule over a century ago. In 1960s or around the bridge had collapsed resulting into a calamity in which some lives were also lost. Now the bridge is being rebuilt by Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC) at a cost of Rs 12.50 crore through L&T. The new version of hanging bridge will be ready most probably by September this year after almost year-long construction activity.
