PM Narendra Modi responds to Uri army camp attack in his Kerala speech this way

Ahmedabad: This is loose translation of what Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at Kozhikode in Kerala today in BJP public meeting in regard with India’s response to recent Uri Army camp attack in Jammu and Kashmir originated from Pakistan in which 18 Indian jawans were martyred.

Wherever incidents of terror acts have happened, only one nation is believed as culprit. It’s not just about India, entire Asia believe that this is one nation that is into export of terrorism.

Whether it’s Afghanistan, Bangladesh or other neighboring nations…. You may have noticed whenever there’s news of terror act from across the world, the news also come that either terrorist was originated from this country or had settled in this country after performing terror act like Osama(Bin Laden).

The people of Kerala knows it very well that what is terrorism. Daughters of Kerala were taken away by terrorists while they were doing service in gulf country. All were worried bout their survival, but entire Kerala could see that the government in Delhi was very vigilant and it ensured their return upto doorstep.

Terrorism is enemy of humanity. India will never bend against terrorism.

There’s an atmosphere of anger across the nation. In Urik Jammu and Kashmir, the terrorists exported by our neighboring nation martyred our 18 jawans. Terrorists should listen that this nation is not going to forget this ever.

In last few months, neighboring nation had exported different groups of 4-6 terrorists to cross the border and create disturbance in our nation. But our brave armed forces failed them 17 times. Those Fidayeen attackers were eliminated near Lind of Control(LoC). In last many years(it is for the first time that), in very short period of time, 110 terrorists are killed by our jawans.

The great task of preventing the nation from these 17 possible attacks was done by our brave jawan. They protected common man, kept fighting, stayed awake. We 125 crore Indians are proud of our armed forces, their bravery, parakram and sacrifice.

You can imagine. Neighboring nation was successful once and our 18 brave jawans martyred. If they had been successful in 17 attempts, what damage they could cause.

My dear countrymen. Our army and armed forces jawans, BSF, CRPF, J&K police, North East police, all our security forces have been winning this fight not just because of arms. For jawans, arms are like their toys. Their strength is India’s determination. Today India’s will power is at its supreme height. This is our strength.

Leaders of neighboring nation used to say they will fight for 1,000 years. They are not visible and lost in the journey of time.

And today’s leaders read speeches written by captains of terrorism.

From here today I want to speak directly to the people of Pakistan. The world has no expectation from those leaders who read speech written by captains of terror activities. But today I want to speak directly to people of Pakistan.

I want to remind the people of Pakistan that prior to 1957 your ancestors used to worship this land. And I want to speak therefore to you. The people of Pakistan should ask their leaders that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is with you and you are not able to handle it. You could not handle then East Pakistan which is today’s Bangladesh. You couldn’t handle Gilgit, Pakhtunistan, Sindh, Balochistan where you have your rule and you talk about Kashmir and mislead. First handle that you have properly at your own place.

People of Pakistan may ask their leaders that both nation achieved freedom at same time. What is the reason that India is exporting software to the world while their leaders export terrorism to the world. What is the reason?(Let them ask their leaders)

I want to tell Pakistan citizens. To mislead you, your leaders talk about fighting with India for 1,000 years. Today there’s a government in Delhi. I am ready to accept this challenge.

I want to tell citizens of Pakistan that India is ready to fight with you. Come, let we eliminate poverty in our country, you eliminate poverty in your country. Who does that first, let’s see. People of Pakistan would choose it.

Youths of Pakistan, let’s fight and see whether India or Pakistan first eliminates unemployment and see who wins it first.

I want to speak to those little children of Pakistan. Let’s fight against illiteracy and see whether India wins it or Pakistan.

New born babies and pregnant women die in India and Pakistan both. Let’s have a fight against this and see who wins.

And leaders of Pakistan may listen. Martyrdom of our 18 jawans will not go in vain.

India has been successful to isolate you across the world. We will intensify it and compel you to stay isolated across the world.

That day is not far when people of Pakistan will come to field to fight against their leadership and against terrorism.

My dear countrymen. The future of our nation is associated with peace and brotherhood. A Jawan of our nation wins when we stay united, speak in one voice, express one pledge. Today 125 crore countrymen are ready to pay any price for country’s aan, baan, shaan.
