Bhuj: District headquarters Bhuj in Gujarat has perhaps become the first railway station in Gujarat to have airport like trolley for carrying luggage.

Around 20 trolleys were presented to Bhuj railway station on Sunday by Kutch Railway Development and Passengers Association and Kutch Pravasi Sangh Mumbai.

Bhuj railway station which is always busy thanks to heavy traffic of Kutchi people to and from Mumbai has only two coolies. Looking at this scenario, the railway administration after so much efforts by passenger associations permitted starting of trolley system in a special case.

Local MLA Dr Nimaben Acharya was present on this occasion of launching trolley system. She said more trolleys will be put at this railway station in near future.

The organizations who have donated these trolleys pointed out that responsibility of maintenance of these trolleys is with railways.
