GSRTC to start CTM – Amitnagar Metro Link Bus Service today

Vadodara: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) will from February 18 start Metro Link Service connecting the entry points of Ahmedabad and Vadodara cities – namely CTM cross roads on Ahmedabad side and Amitnagar circle on Vadodara side. The bus service will be available between 7.00 am and 9.00 pm at interval of every fifteen minute. Bus fare in one direction will be Rs 60. The service will be non-stop through Ahmdabad – Vadodara express way. According to GSRTC, 14 min buses are to be deployed for this service. It must be noted that CTM entry/exit point in Ahmedabad is linked to Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) route within Ahmdedabad. With BRTS connectivity for local transportation and Metro Link bus connectivity of GSRTC for Ahmedabad-Vadodara transportation, journey between two cities will be easier than ever before. Some of the benefits associated with this service are; insured journey, availability of another bus in case of breakdown on highway, no wastage of time due to traffic within the city as CTM and Amitnagar are entry/exit points.
