Sampark Kranti train to halt at Surat, Mumbai – Ranakpur train at Navsari

Surat: According to Navsari Lok Sabha MP CR Patil, the western railway officials have approved stoppages of two major trains at Surat and Navsari. Sampark Kranti train which connects Delhi and Goa will halt at Surat railway station now onward. In another development, Mumbai – Ranakpur train has been given stoppage at Navsari railway station.However stoppage at Navsari will be effective only on Mumbai – Ranakpur direction and not in Ranakpur – Mumbai direction. With this the people of Navsari and Surat will get further connectivity to various destinations. The decision in this regard has been taken in response to local Lok Sabha MP CR Patil’s representation. Some of other major demands Patil has made before the railways include stoppage of Duronto trains at Surat and DRM office at Surat.
