Maritime Uni., Organic Uni. announcements were made in earlier budgets too: Gujarat Congress

Gujarat Congress today pointed out that in the recent budget presented by Finance minister Nitin Patel, two old announcements made in previous budgets were reintroduced.
Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi in a statement issued here said today, Gujarat government has announced Rs 20 crore for setting up Maritime University in year 2017-18 budget. This same announcement was also made in January 2014 also, but government at that time started Marine Engineering class at Shantilal Shah Engineering college without taking approval. Later due to approval related issues, students were transferred to another course/college.
Similarly BJP government had in 2016-17 made announcement to start Organic Farming University and allotted Rs 10 crore as initial provision. However there has been no progress in this regard. Now in 2017-18 budget Organic Science University proposal has been reintroduced.
