Driver of running ST bus dies of heart attack in North Gujarat

Palanpur: The driver of a running bus of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC), popularly known as ST bus died of a heart attack in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat this morning, police said.
However the 20 odd passengers of the bus, fortunately, had a closed shave. Some of them though sustained minor injuries when the running bus went off the road near Mervada close to the district headquarter Paramour.
The bus was going to Mahesana when the driver suddenly collapsed at his seat.
The bus kept running for a while after it went off the road and fortunately stopped by itself close to a gorge.
