Ramesh Chandra Agarwal, owner of Bhaskar Group passes away in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Dainik Bhaskar Group Chairman Ramesh Chandra Agarwal passed away today at Ahmedabad due to heart attack. He was 73. Shri Agarwal was taken to nearby Apollo hospital after heart attack where he was declared dead.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, K.Kailashnathan, MoS Pradipsinh Jadeja, State BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya among others rushed to Apollo hospital as soon as they head about this sad news. Chief Minister Rupani said he heard about sad news when he was in cabinet meeting. Soon after cabinet meet he left for Apollo hospital. Later leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela and MLA and spokesperson of Congress party Shaktisinh Gohil also visited the hospital along with state party spokesperson Manish Doshi.
Shri Agarwal was to visit Rajkot via Ahmedabad airport today.
Shri Ramesh Agarwal’s mortal remains will be taken to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in series of tweets paid tribute to Shri Agrawal sand said Madhya Pradesh has lost a precious gem. State BJP president Jitu Vaghani, Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani are among those who tweeted tribute to Shri Agrawal as soon as they heard the news regarding his demise.
